Key Role:
- The incumbent in this position will fulfil the role of an Assistant Consultant in the Geochem Team and will be focused on contaminated land and other projects related to geochemistry.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support on delivery of projects including proposal writing, fieldwork, technical reporting, client engagement, project financial management and Quality Assurance.
- Projects will largely focus on the Contaminated Land discipline ranging from Phase I and Phase II investigations to remediation. The incumbent may also be involved in a range of broader geoscience projects such as environmental monitoring and geochemical assessments.
- Engagement and collaboration with colleagues to ensure first-class project delivery to a range of clients.
- Undertaking of all required project and staff administrative functions in accordance with the company procedures and timetables e.g. project financial reporting and forecasting, invoicing, assisting with the debt management process, expenses and timesheet submissions.

Qualifications
- Qualifications and Experience Required
- BSc (Honours) in geological sciences or related topic. (Geology – UKZN) –
- Minimum of 1st year chemistry and mathematics/statistics in degree.
- Valid driver’s licence.
