Job Description:
- We are seeking a qualified and professional Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and assets. The Security Officer will patrol the premises, monitor surveillance equipment, and respond to any security incidents that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol designated areas to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Provide a visible presence to deter criminal activity
- Report any suspicious or unusual activities to management
- Record and report any security incidents or breaches
- Assist employees or customers with security concerns
- Conduct security checks of visitors, vehicles, and packages
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid Psira certificate
- Previous experience in security preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
