Job Description
- RPO Recruitment’s client, an established and reputable building contractor based in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
- The ideal candidate will be a confident, well-presented professional with a strong background in industrial and commercial building projects, and the ability to work independently while contributing to the company’s long-term growth.
- This role offers excellent exposure to large-scale projects, as well as a clear pathway into senior management or directorship for the right individual.
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a reputable building contractor
- At least 5 years’ experience on industrial and commercial projects
- Strong technical and contractual knowledge (JBCC, NEC, or similar)
- Standalone, confident, and well-spoken professional with excellent presentation and communication skills
- Leadership abilities and the ambition to grow into a senior management/directorship position over time
- Own vehicle (petrol card provided)
- Willingness to travel to sites outside Gauteng as required
- Proficiency in CCS and MS Office
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
