Job Description
Overview:
- We’re seeking an experienced Lead UI Designer to drive the visual evolution of our digital platforms. This role is ideal for a creative yet strategic thinker who can balance design excellence with usability, accessibility, and brand consistency.
- You’ll collaborate closely with UX, content, and product teams to shape intuitive, engaging, and scalable user interfaces that elevate the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and implementation of high-quality UI designs across web and digital platforms.
- Translate user and business requirements into elegant, functional, and visually compelling interfaces.
- Expand and maintain the design system, ensuring consistency across all components and patterns.
- Collaborate with product designers, UX writers, and developers to ensure design integrity through to delivery.
- Conduct UI reviews, provide guidance and mentorship to intermediate designers, and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Develop responsive layouts and pixel-perfect prototypes to support stakeholder alignment.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles, accessibility, and brand alignment throughout the design process.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in UI design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Proven expertise in design systems, responsive design, and modern web standards.
- Strong proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience collaborating within agile or cross-functional product teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the Financial Industry.
- Familiarity with component libraries and front-end frameworks.
- Previous involvement in digital transformation or platform enhancement projects.
