BASIC SALARY: R 268 092.46 – R 347 998.54 per annum [T9]

Job Purpose:
- Co-ordinates and controls the set-up, work in progress and completion of specialized tasks / activities associated with maintenance and repair (carpentry) including, monitoring and correcting support personnel productivity and performance and, attending to general administrative recording requirements contributing to the accomplishment of departmental objectives.
Duties:
- Interprets and co-ordinates specific pre-work/ site requirements with regards to installation, repairs, planned and predictive maintenance sequences and guides the activities of personnel.
- Performs specific tasks associated with carpentry during renovations interior/ exterior building surfaces, repairs and maintenance activities.
- Performs supervision and controls the tasks/activities of the subordinates and allocates and prioritises outcomes.
- Completes internal transactional documentation (e.g. time sheets, Job cards, etc.) and related forms.
- Performs functions associated with the maintenance and administration relating to the upkeep of the designated vehicle.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in terms of OHS Act.
Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Certificate: Carpentry
- Valid Code B Drivers License
- 2 years relevant experience
- Supervisory Skills
- Proficiency in at least 2 of the official languages of the Western Cape
