Job Description
- Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Foreman to oversee all plant maintenance operations. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, ensuring equipment reliability, controlling maintenance budgets, and driving continuous improvement in line with safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related qualification
- 10 years’ experience in a similar maintenance leadership role
- Experience with metal pressing machines and automotive manufacturing
- Strong understanding of safety and legal compliance
- Proven ability to manage budgets, maintenance schedules, and reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams (fitters, electricians, welders, etc.)
- Plan, delegate, and monitor daily maintenance activities
- Ensure equipment uptime and plant reliability
- Implement and enforce safety and quality standards
- Manage maintenance budgets, orders, and contractor relationships
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance plans
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
