Job Description
- Provide administrative support at our Potatoes Facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing documentation for receiving and dispatching of loads, cooling room administration, stocktaking of produce, and general HR-related administrative duties.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Experience in a similar role: 1-2 years.
- Computer Literate and proficient in excel
- Working knowledge of biometric clocking systems & time sheets would serve as advantage
- Good Communication Skills (English and Afrikaans)
- Clear Criminal Record
- Good administration skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify employee time and attendance records
- Administer leave applications and employee contracts
- Coordinate new and fixed-term contracts.
- Liaise with the HR department regarding employee enquiries.
- Capture and verify stock sales and dispatch information
- Conduct regular stocktakes of produce and reconcile with KTS
- Ensure efficient paperwork for the receiving and dispatching of loads to and from the facility.
- Create purchase order numbers for cooling room and greenhouse expenses.
- Purchase stationery and manage office supplies
- Excellent service delivery with regards to client enquiries and solutions to problems that arise;
- Provide general administrative support;
- Support the Health & Safety Officer with administrative functions
- Compile minutes and agendas for safety and security meetings
- Deliver service to internal clients and ensuring excellent work quality
