Job Description

• The Yardman is a professional who performs a range of tasks to support other workers in the factory and/or outside the warehouse.

Responsibilities, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Conduct various tasks to support other workers in the warehouses.
• Assist other staff by delivering the materials and equipment necessary to complete projects on time.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
• Operate machinery and equipment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Provide support to other staff members as needed.
• Operate a forklift and move product

Requirements

• Proven experience as a general worker or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of general labour principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Grade 11
• Forklift License will be an added advantage
