Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Driver’s License
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- Minimum of 4 years relevant TMM experience in a mining environment.
The Role requirements include, but not be limited to:
- Responsible for maintaining and repairing the diesel fleet, managing any mechanical issues and carrying out routine inspections of the equipment.
- Maintenance of TMM, Diesel by generator and diesel standby.
- Replacing, testing and checking.
- Adherent to the jobs and repair procedures.
- Housekeeping of workplace to international standards
- Complete all associated paperwork.
- Work as directed to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
- Ensuring inspections are carried out on all equipment before use.
- Ensuring that all tools and equipment are serviceable and safe.
