Minimum Qualification / Requirements:
- Studying towards a Mining Engineering qualification.
- Willing to learn and be trained
- Administrative skills and Microsoft knowledge.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative.
- The candidate must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
- Soild knowledge to read and interpret mining plans.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):
- Learning operational processes.
- Assist with improving mining efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct safety inspections in the pit and around the site.
- Assist during blasting preparations.
- Analyse blast outcomes with blaster.
- Assist with short-term planning.
- Assist in daily shift documentation and reporting.
- Complete the vacation work program
