- The success of our product range depends upon us building strong, trusting and mutually beneficial relationships with our suppliers, and maximising the value that our owned channels can create for us and them.
- We’re looking for an Account Manager who proposes the right campaigns for the right supplier, and collaborates with the Buying, Planning and Marketing teams to bring their campaigns to life.
Responsibilities
What your role looks like
The Account Manager role focuses on maximising supplier marketing income. Trusting and mutually beneficial relationships need to be built and maintained with key, investing suppliers, supported by campaigns that effectively meet their objectives. Practically, this looks like:
- Sales of advertising packages: Helping co-ordinate the annual rate card, working with Buyers to target potential investing suppliers, and proposing effective campaign plans.
- Relationship management: Representing Yuppiechef Marketing professionally to supplier partners, and managing expectations clearly and positively.
- Campaign management: Engaging with suppliers to clarify their objectives, and then crafting creative briefs and collaborating within the Marketing team (Creative, Paid Media, Social Media, Production) and Visual Merchandising and Store teams to oversee and approve campaign roll-outs
- Reporting and feedback: Optimising reporting templates, sourcing and analysing data vs KPIs, and developing narratives for sharing results
Who you’ll be working with
- You will be working in close collaboration with the broader Marketing, Creative, and Merchandising teams (including Buying & Planning). You will also interact with the Tech, Finance, and Store Operations teams. We work hard, communicate openly, moving on ideas quickly, keeping to deadlines.

What experience and skills you need for the role
Qualifications:
- Required: A Marketing-related tertiary qualification
Experience:
- Required: 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Client account management within an agency environment, ideally on retail accounts
- Briefing and approval of creative campaigns
- Social media affinity
- Familiarity with marketing and ecommerce metrics and reporting/data analytics
- Beneficial knowledge: Google Analytics, omnichannel retail
Personal skills:
- Excellent verbal and written skills (English)
- An ability to manage your own time and deliverables
- Resilient to changes in workload and shifting priorities
