Qualifications and experience required:
- Examiner of Vehicle Diploma Grade A.
- Registered as an Examiner of Vehicle on the Natis system.
- Matric certificate.
- Code EC and A driver’s licence.
- Computer literacy.
- One to two years’ experience.
Job purpose:
- Co-ordinating tasks/activities associated with the examination, testing and issuing of road worthiness certifications for all categories of vehicles through the application of laid down assessment and inspection procedures, attending to administrative reporting and recordkeeping requirements and guiding personnel with the execution of specific activities to ensure vehicles conform with the requirements of the Road Traffic Act, SABS standards and regulations contributing to the safety of all users.
- As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
