- Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology/ Human Resource Management (Essential)
- Driver’s license (Essential)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- The candidate must be medically fit in terms the Mine Health and Safety Act
- Clear criminal record essential
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Analysing and interpretation of information

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):
- Afrimat is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic People Management (PM) & Learning and Development (L&D) Intern to join our dynamic team.
- This role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in human resources, employee engagement, and learning initiatives within a leading organisation.
- Providing project management support
- Assisting with day-to-day PM operations.
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Coordinating training sessions, workshops, and learning programmes.
- Assisting with Annual Training Reports (ATR) and Workplace Skills Plans (WSP).
- Compiling and analysing PM data and reports.
- Supporting employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
- Contributing to research and innovation of PM processes and procedures.
- Providing general support to the Learning & Development function
