Supervisor Production (Packing) – Klerksdorp Mill at PepsiCo

Responsibilities

Job Overview:Supervises the activities on shift work in either a manufacturing or continuous process operation.

• Control and report product quality parameters
• Update and maintain shift report                                                                
• Control product, production processes and raw material stock level                                                         
• Maintain plant, machinery and equipment,
• Manage people & maintain discipline
• Regular plant inspections and report deviations                                   
• Ensure adherence to safety, health & hygiene standards; (Tools box talks, PJO, NM & BBS)
• Ensure adherence to document control policies                                    
• Managed team, ensure team is trained on operational process
• Update shift time sheets
• Open and close process orders
• Prepare month end cleaning and stock take

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and/or Relevant National Training Certificate/Qualification
• Four to five years’ relevant FMCG experience (Production & Manufacturing)
• Proven Supervisory experience
• HACCP, GMP’s, health, safety and hygiene compliance
• National Certificate/Diploma in Production/Operations Management or Engineering
• Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
• Computer literacy
