Main Objectives
All academics are responsible for the dissemination of knowledge (teaching and learning), creation of knowledge (research) and community engagement, recognising that there are differences in the execution of these responsibilities within the various departments and Faculties.Â
Academics are also expected to assume some administrative, management and/or leadership duties at the departmental, Faculty and/or University level.
The Requirements
CA(SA) in good standing at the date of application, with an intent to pursue a relevant Master’s degree, and relevant experience in the following:
Professional experience in the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); or
Teaching experience in Financial Accounting at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels required on a SAICA CA-endorsed programme.
Growing national profile in the discipline.
Track record of administration, management, and/or leadership roles.
A relevant Master’s degree would be an advantage.
