Job Description
Business Analyst – Intermediate to Senior Level:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate and/or Commercial banking, with a focus on business analysis for Trade Finance and Payments projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Payments and Trade systems such as EFT, RTGS, Swift, Calypso, RIVO, DOKA, Tiplus, eTradeport, etc. and vendor management, including working with vendors like Surecomp.
  • Strong understanding of Structured Trade and Commodity Finance (STCF) specializing in cross-border financing for the trade of goods and commodities.
  • Solid understanding of Payments and Trade products and services, including Domestic Payments, Cross-Border Payments, Letters of Credit, Foreign Bills of Collection, and Trade Guarantees, etc.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and business analysis training or certification from recognized providers such as FTI, IIBA, or MICTSETA, including Advanced Business Analysis Programme, National Certificate in Business Analysis, CBAP, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously, produce high-quality requirements documentation within tight deadlines, and ensure completion and sign-off of all project artefacts.
  • Proficient in using electronic project management tools like Jira and Confluence to maintain accurate and well-documented project updates.
  • Preferred: Experience in Business Process Engineering/Analysis with the ability to perform both BA and PE roles, including producing business requirements and optimizing processes through mapping current and future states.
