What You’ll Do
As a Senior Manager, you will take ownership of a broad portfolio of Corporate Finance engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
Core Engagement Delivery
- Lead and review various types of corporate valuations, including PPAs, impairment testing, equity and debt instrument valuations
- Deliver and oversee comprehensive financial due diligence assignments across multiple industries
- Prepare sophisticated financial and valuation models and translate insights into high-quality, board-level reports
Client & Commercial Leadership
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients while delivering an exceptional transaction experience
- Contribute to business development: preparing proposals, identifying opportunities, and helping build a strong deal pipeline
- Leverage your professional network to support revenue growth and cross-sell services across the firm
People Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members—building capability in valuation, due diligence, and key soft skills
- Review work outputs, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture
Operational & Risk Excellence
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery
- Uphold rigorous quality and risk management standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and thought leadership across the service line
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified CA(SA) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in Corporate Finance
- Strong technical grounding in IFRS (specifically IFRS 3, IFRS 9, IFRS 13, IAS 36)
- Proven experience in business valuations, financial due diligence, and report writing
- Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel)
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities
- Experience in JSE advisory is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work under pressure, think independently, and handle multiple engagements confidently
