Job Description

• A Mining client based in the Mpumalanga region is looking for an experienced General Manager 4.1a

Duties:

• Responsible for carrying the legal responsibilities of the 4.1a appointee
• Deliver on Production targets as well as Safety, occupational health and environment targets
• Implement and maintain appropriate systems for health and safety of all employees and contractors on the operation

​​​​​​​Qualifications/Requirements:

• A Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering 
• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Metalliferous)
• At least 10yrs experience in a hard rock mining environment with at least 3yrs at Mine Manager level
