- PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The procurement Administrator Intern will support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the supply of raw materials, components, and consumables required for manufacturing operations. The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:
- Assist with sourcing and comparing supplier quotations.
- Create and manage purchase orders in the ERP system.
- Support supplier communication, performance tracking, and evaluations.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure compliance.
- Contribute to spend analysis and procurement reporting.
- Participate in process improvement and sustainability initiatives.
- Help identify supply chain risks and support mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve logistics and supply issues.
- Provide admin support for special projects and procurement tasks.

- Must be unemployed at the time of contracting.
- Must be between the ages of 18 – 34.
- Must meet the definition of “Black People,” as defined in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003, as amended.
- Must not have previously participated in a “Yes4Youth” program.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1 years or less relevant experience in a similar role (internship or learnership experience will be considered).
