About the Role
- As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the face of Mukuru — assisting customers with their foreign exchange transactions in a friendly, professional, and compliant manner.
- You’ll process transactions accurately, verify documents, and help customers confidently complete their money transfers. This role is all about people — providing excellent service, spotting risks, and making sure every interaction reflects Mukuru’s trusted brand.
What You’ll Do
- Process foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all customer documents are valid and legally compliant.
- Detect and report any suspicious or fraudulent activity.
- Manage your cash float and stock to ensure accurate balancing.
- Stay up to date with foreign exchange systems (ICFX) and regulatory updates.
- Maintain Mukuru’s brand standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Take ownership of your professional growth through ongoing training and assessments.
What You’ll Bring
- Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
- 1+ year experience in Customer Service or Financial Services (Essential)
- Foreign exchange experience (Desirable)
- Completed or willing to complete Mukuru Forex Consultant Training Course
Knowledge of:
- Foreign currencies
- FICA regulations
- Exchange control regulations
- ICFX system (advantageous)
