Job Advert Summary    

  • Clover has an exciting opportunity for talented and motivated individuals with relevant skills and experience, to join our Sales department as Field Marketer for Emerging Markets (Masakhane).
  • The successful individual will be responsible for growing sales volume and facilitate the order taking as well as monitor merchandising standard for Clover and Principals products in smaller outlets within designated geographical area (Soweto).

Requirements    

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF4
  • Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
  • Business English: Fluent
  • Computer literacy
  • Driver’s License – Code 10

Duties and Responsibilities    

  • Increase sales volumes in stores
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Support customers with appropriate sales procedures.
  • Ensure constant stock availability.
  • Introduce appropriate measures to address customer needs.
  • Source and maintain new businesses to develop active buying customer base.

Provide service to customers through sales processes

  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Support customers with appropriate sales procedures.
  • Ensure constant stock availability. 
  • Minimise stock returns.
  • Understand our cold space priorities and execute: Planograms, primary placement, secondary placement etc
  • Maintain facings.

Monitor and report on sales volumes and pricing.  

  • Record and report on sales per outlet and product category.
  • Implement negotiated prices.
  • Through training, learn the importance of margin and the more detailed commercial arguments in terms of what to stock and how to price.

Optimise basket of Principal product

  • Negotiate optimisation of basket.
  • Introduce new products and Principals.
  • Arrange launches and promotional material.
