Purpose of the Job
The Granting Clerk acts as the main point of contact between the company and its customers, handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. This role focuses on resolving customer complaints, addressing inquiries, and providing high-level customer service. A strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment are key requirements.
Job Objectives

Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls efficiently and professionally

Detect and flag potential fraudulent activity through phone interactions

Follow communication protocols and scripts for consistency

Clarify customer information, research concerns, and provide timely solutions

Build strong customer relationships by going the extra mile

Accurately document all interactions in the call centre database

Meet or exceed performance targets, including call quality and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Experience and Requirements

Previous experience in a customer support or call centre role

Proven success in meeting or exceeding performance quotas

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills

Experience with UCS systems is an advantage (or willingness to learn)

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively

Adaptability to work with different personality types and customer needs
