Job Overview
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating the forklift to transport products and equipment within the mill. Key tasks include picking, sorting, recording product details, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate forklift to transport goods and equipment

Conduct daily forklift and equipment inspections

Record product quantities and check expiry dates

Ensure clean and organized packing areas

Maintain damage-free stock operations

Stack pallets safely and according to compliance

Adhere to forklift speed limits and safety regulations

Participate in monthly stock counts
-
Follow Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) policies

Inspect pallets for quality and safety
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent

Valid forklift license (essential)

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role/environment

Knowledge of health and safety standards
