The Salvation Army (TSA) is one of the world-wide faith based organizations, found 150 years ago. With the mission of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ with emphasis on holiness, and building a united and self-reliant Army that meets the needs of the whole person, body, soul and mind without discrimination. TSA has served people from the most impoverished and marginalized communities in Africa. Asia and Latin America without discriminating, race, gender, ethnicity or religion. TSA Uganda has been working since 1931 preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ while at the same time implementing community projects to lift people out of poverty. TSA Uganda seeks to recruit highly motivated and qualified individuals for a five 5 year Sustainable Integrated Development (SIDE) project to be implemented in Kiryandongo district with funding from NORAD through Digin.
Job Summary:    The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the field office; support the field team in completing routine clerical and accounting tasks; complete basic book keeping and accounting procedures and prepare and maintain financial reports.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate must hold a University degree in Business Administration, BCOM or related field.
  • A minimum of three years of working experience in related field.
